This is my blog for my new business. I've been knitting since Feb 2009 after a break of 15+ years. I first learned from books but picked up again since my friend dyed the most beautiful yarns and I just couldn't collect them. I started to spin in Aug 2010 on a spindle and then on a Hansen Minispinner since Oct 2010. I started to weave Sept 2014 on an Emilia Glimakra Rigid Heddle Loom. I've been test knitting since 2011 and a sample knitter since 2016.

Same Old Same Old
I'm still working on washing all my handspun yarn. I had a big bag and probably have 2 more washes to do. I do about 6 yarns at one time so that is about 24 skeins to wash. I haven't taken on any more new projects because I have SO many WIP that I need to finish. I have a couple of Christmas gifts and would love to finish this shark scarf so hubby can wear it this fall/winter.
Needle: Size 4 Circular
Yarn: Cascade Yarns Heritage Solids and Quatro Colors in Steel and Marine
Pattern: http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/save-the-sharks-argyle-scarf
I'm almost done these socks for hubby too. Good thing he doesn't like long cuffs (not like my Father-In-Laws 7" of cuff Christmas socks).

Google Chrome Is The Answer
Well, when I run into a problem Internet wise I usually Google it. I looked on the help forums on Blogger and someone suggested that I change to Google Chrome instead of Internet Explorer. It worked. For some reason Internet Explorer and loading pictures on Blogger don't play nice. Here is the handspun yarn I have to wash. I try to wash them in groups so if the dye comes off it won't dye the yarn a different color. I got about 6 washed and a bunch more to go!
Windows 10
I just upgraded and a like most of it so far. At least I didn't lose the old Microsoft stuff I like to keep. The Microsoft Work Calendar is great at letting you set appointments on a lot of setting which Google calendar doesn't. Besides I don't want my Google calendar covered with my reminders to exercise every day. Anyway, I haven't posted on either of my blogs for a while since I can't figure out why I can't post pictures on Blogger. I don't really like posts with just words but here is one for you now.

Great Mail Day!
This came in the mail today. I moderated the Bee Mice Elf Tour De Fleece team during the Tour De Fleece. Laurs sent me this 100% BLF Nile as a thank you gift. I can't wait to spin it up. Check out Laurs fiber here: https://www.etsy.com/shop/beemiceelf
